Not sure what to say?

As a quiet 2nd grader learning to read, she instilled confidence. She was Miss Ross at the beginning of the year, but was Mrs Updike by the end. That was at Fishing Creek Valley in 1970-71. Thank you for instilling the love of reading!

As I look at Sherry with her smile, I think of all the memories we had. I loved our conversations of forty years cutting her hair. She loved her family. Even as late as Christmas she was telling me about the family. May you Rest In Peace my dear friend.

Our condolences are with Jim and her family. Sherry was a cheerful neighbor and we enjoyed running into her. We will miss her smiling face!

My sincerest condolences to Jim and the family on the passing of Sherry. She was a wonderful person to know and to talk to. The few times our paths crossed outside our homes, we had wonderful long talks about so many things...families, trips (especially the one to her ancestors home), her career (that she loved), aches and pains, etc. I marveled at her energy and positive attitude. It is a special privilege I was given to know her as I did. She will always be in my heart. With love,

I was friends with Sherry many years ago, when I lived in Fishing Creek. We lost touch over the years, but I often thought about her. I am so sorry for your loss. Rest in peace my friend.

Sherry was an amazing kindergarten teacher. My son just could not understand why she was not coming with us on vacation. She probably needed a break from his endless energy. Rest easy. You left a lasting impression on many young students and parents.
