We frequently think of Sherwin and miss the time we spent during our 20 plus year relationship.

I want to send my condolences to the entire Simmons family. I worked with Sherwin as his billing assistant for five or six years at Steel Hector & Davis. He was a great person and one of my very favorite people I have every worked with in my 15 or so years at the firm. He will be sorely missed.

I had the grand pleasure of being one of Professor Simmons' students at the University of Miami Law School's LL.M tax program and after graduating from the program had the further honor of meeting with him at many a lunch and breakfast meeting at the Miami City Club.
