SHERWOOD WAYNE "Coach" CHAPMAN

Coach Chapman was my high school drafting teacher. He encouraged me to pursue my talent for mechanical drafting which encouraged me to further pursue my intended career choice as a mechanical engineer. Thanks to his encouragement and my hard work I am a successful Sr. Engineer working in the energy industry. Thanks for all the encouragement Coach!

Carla, Kevin, Jill and Darren,

I was so sorry to read today about the passing of your father. Your parents were always so nice to me, and I have such wonderful memories of them both, from your mom's shared appreciation of puns to your dad's tireless efforts to teach me how to water ski. My most sincere condolences and best wishes to you all.

Never met the man until today, drinking coffee and reading the Ledger Obit section. I had to enter his book to say THANK YOU for being on this planet. I could tell he was loved by many and the laughing from his obit sure made my day and how I wished I had met this man....I am sure God is a lot happier now that Wayne has come HOME.....

Coach and George will probably be bugging God to let them go shooting.
