Charlotte-Rosario.... we loved him LIKE- our dad- our POPS! i ,had just got back from a job in california, if i would have know, I would have...

Our Prayers and sympathies to the family. Sherwood and I had a great relationship and lots of funny memories that only he and I know about. I'll miss you my friend.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Sherwood's family and friends. I have lots of memories of hostin karaoke in debbie's, hanging with shelly (on my days off from graham's ) and meeting this iconic man. I was so nervous and a little scared cause of the numerous things i had heard but very amused when i finally met him and saw what a nice man he was. Thanks for some great cold beer, bull rides, music and great memories. God Bless!

I use to go to G's all the time. Sherwood would always refer to me as "Old Man." My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

I worked for Sherwood in the mid 60's at the snake pit them my mother and sister also worked at G's and the barn for him.
Many good memorys.......

My husband's grandfather, Isaac Hannah, purchased the property and house that Sherwood's father built off FM 1818 in Diboll,Texas. The house has since been sold and moved but is still in excellent condition. We too had always heard stories about Sherwood Cryer and finally got to meet him personally and had a really nice visit. I wrote about him in the Diboll Free Press. He subcribed for awhile and told me several times how much he enjoyed reading my "Round Table News" about people in Diboll....
