Sheryl Powers

I had the pleasure of teaching with Sheryl at LV and she was a wonderful teacher with a wonderful sense of humor. I will never forget her. My thoughts and prayers are with Sami and your wonderful family as you journey through this devastating lost.

Sheryl was a wonderful help for my Grandchildren when they went to Dillingham. She touched many lives, and will be missed by many. May God be with each and everyone of the family and friends. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. And a special prayer is being said for Samantha. Olivia sends her deepest sympathy to you Samantha.

Words cannot begin to express my sorrow. Sheryl was the rare type of friend that though miles eventually separated us and years passed, the special bond remained. Sami, you were like my first grandchild, and I will always cherish being a part of your entry into this world. My heart aches for you and all the family. Just know that thoughts and prayers are with you, and all that knew and loved Sheryl suffer the loss with you. God be with all of you.

Sarah and I cannot express the depth of our sorrow at the loss of Sheryl. As Sarah's principal the last three years we were in Sherman, she bacame a mentor and a dear friend. The texts that Sarah and Sheryl would exchange are gut-busting funny and now are cherished memories. Sheryl was my 8th grade math teacher at Piner Middle school during the 2002-2003 school year. She was one of my favorite teachers, not to mention a very fun and caring person. Thoughts and Prayers go out to all of her family, especially Sami.
