Not sure what to say?

Tho I never met Shiffie, I heard a lot about her...from her loving daughter Carol and from my own wonderful mother, Mabel Kagan, who recently passed away. Carol or my sister Stacey usually had a funny story to tell about something Shiffie said or did and I enjoyed hearing them! Rest in peace, Shiffie and go have fun with my mom!

DEAR CAROL. SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR MOM. I KNOW SHE MEANT A LOT TO YOU. I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER HER WITH A SMILE. LOVE LUCY.

I will always be grateful to Shiffie (aka Mom-Mom-Bob) & Marty (aka Zeyda-Bob) for opening their home & their hearts to us. Having never met us; they took us into their home and treated us as family. I thank them for that and appreciate all they did for me and my family. You will be dearly missed.

Thinking of you. May you be comforted by the wonderful memories of your mom. Laura Savage

Dear, Dear Shiffie - you were a second mom to me. We used to laugh that sometimes you forgot that you didn't give birth to me! You were warm and funny ... every outing, every occasion with you was an adventure. I have SO many wonderful memories ... "Shissie" on your birthday cake at Rawhide, our trip to San Diego and you seeing the Pacific Ocean for the first time, weekly shopping trips, excursions to JCPenney's and your generosity with "the keys to the kingdom", the December you and I...

My mother-the very fiber of my being, the rock of my life and my best friend and in the end, my child. You gave me life, laughter and love. You taught me to accept all life has to offer, both good and bad, with grace and dignity. I will honor your life, living as you have taught me to live. I will never be the same again!

Thank you, Mrs. Feldman for sharing your daughter, Beryl with our family.
