Dear Frank, Maura and Brendan,
We were deeply saddened to learn of Shirley’s passing. We met through our mutual employment at the First Baptist Church and quickly became good friends. We spent many lunchtimes talking about our children and I learned how very very much she loved her family. She was a gracious, stylish and smart woman who everyone loved and respected. Although we lost contact after we moved, I never forgot her and regret we didn’t have the opportunity to reconnect...

I've known Shirley since primary school. We were roommates in Hartford and I was a bridesmaid in her wedding to Frank. I'm saddened to hear of her passing and extend my sympathy to the family. Rest in peace Shirley. Sincerely, Betty Galko
