Shirlene DeVrient

Shirlene DeVrient, Marionville, MO, daughter of Jessie and Bertha (Tindle) Doyle, was born on October 06, 1932 in Boyle, MS and departed this life on December 16, 2018, at the age of 86.

Shirlene had lived in the area for the past twenty two years coming from Jackson, MS. She was a Sunday School Teacher, seamstress, painted pictures, very good with stained glass, did early childhood education for 4 and 5 year olds for years, operated Cinnamon Hill Bed and Breakfast in Kimberling City for ten years and at Ozark Methodist Manor, she ran the gift shop.

Survivors include: her husband of 63 years, Maurice DeVrient of Marionville, MO; one daughter, Melissa Varner and her husband, Gerry of Jackson, MS; two sons, Kerry DeVrient of Catlin, IL and Mark DeVrient and his wife, Deidre of Natches, MS; one grandson, Mark Adam DeVrient and his wife, Brandy of Natches, MS; two great grandchildren, Thacker DeVrient and Whitman DeVrient and a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 28, 2018 in Ozark Methodist Manor, Marionville, MO with Reverend Andrew Kennell officiating. Interment will be in Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, MO at 12:00 p.m., Friday, December 28, 2018.
