Reverend Mike Howard will officiate. Interment will follow in the Kilbourne Cemetery in Kilbourne, Louisiana. Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Oak Grove, Louisiana. Shirley passed away Saturday, October 31, 2015 at LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, Louisiana. She is preceded in death by her father, Junior Faye Lawson; her son, Gregory Allen; granddaughter, Madison Renee Ellingsburg; sister, Patricia Lawson; sister, Deborah Hughes; brother, Roy Junior Lawson; and brother, Robert Lawson. She is survived by her husband, Lloyd Eugene Allen of Oak Grove; mother, Joyce Nell Lawson of Parkdale, Arkansas; daughter and son-in-law, Christina and Adam Brooks of Paris, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Samuel Peoples of Napoleonville, Louisiana; daughter, Pamela Allen of Oak Grove; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Jason Wright of Monroe, Louisiana; son and daughter-in-law, Justin and Renea "Skeeter" Allen of Natchitoches, Louisiana; daughter and son-in-law, Jessica and Robbie Ellingsburg of Hamburg, Arkansas; sister, Tammy Miller of Oakdale, Louisiana; sister, Joyce Ann Pope of Logansport, Indiana; brother, Jimmy Don Lawson of Vicksburg, Mississippi; brother, James Lawson of Kilbourne, Louisiana; brother, Danny Lawson of Lake Village, Arkansas; and 18 grandchildren. Pallbearers are: Austin Street, Bryan Allen, Steven Allen, Brandon Lawson, Triston Adams and Tony Atkinson. Honorary Pallbearers are: Jason Wright and Michael Miller. Family will receive friends between the hours of 10 AM until 8 PM on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at Cox Funeral Home in Oak Grove.
