I remember seeing your mother in the lead role of "Mame" at the Tidewater Dinner Theater. She was perfect!

I love to remember how my mother and Shirley used to shake their heads simultaneously whenever Ed would try to tell them something he had all wrong...

Thinking of you as you learn how to be without your beautiful, loving mother. Be blessed, this day, with memories of how much she loved you all.

Shirley was a bright light in our lives. She was a wonderful friend to my mother, Ann Archer, for which I will be forever grateful. As I time has gone by my voice has gotten deeper - I have been told I am now a true Contralto - and I always respond "I'm just channeling my inner Shirley"! Thank you Shirley for your friendship. I miss you.

My condolences to you all on the loss of Mamere. She was like my other mother and I am forever grateful for her kindness and love. There are so many stories and memories we made throughout the years. I was lucky enough to spend some time with her in early January. She reflected so many of memories laughing about our times at the Lake to Mule Day stories. I am truly blessed to have known her
