Always a friend no matter how long between visits. We worked together many year always trying to get together even after retirement. Our many get togethers in Flordia flint and luncheons or having a get together at our house playing dominos. We will miss you great friend.

Shirley was a wonder friend to my mother Jeanne Murphy at American House North. When I stayed with my mom, Shirley always asked me to join in the card games. She had a smile that lit up her face. My mom will be happy to see her again in heaven.

Aunt Shirley seemed to be everyone's Rock. I remember her contagious laugh. Whenever I heard it or saw it, it made me laugh. When we were able to visit, her door was always open. There was food available, lots of conversation and laughs. Always something fun to do and kids to play with. I remember feeling so welcome and safe at her home.
Aunt Shirley was the one who made all our family reunions possible. They were some of my favorite memories as a child.
She was a strong Lady who...

We lived next door to Shirley and her lovely family for many years. She was always ready to help in any situation. One year we had a Japanese exchange student living with us. Shirley and daughter Connie were so sweet to her.. we have such fond memories of Shirley and all the Begleys. So sad and we wish we could be with you.
Love,
Jack, Kay, and Jon Iles
