Shirley was the wife of my dear friend her husband General AC Blalock . We played golf together for years . In his passing I grew to know Shirley by trying to help her any way I could . This helped me cope with his passing . We became friends over her final months and Shirley did incredibly well during her health battle . I was saddened to know of her quick passing when she seemed to be doing well. I´m so thankful that her daughter Meghan and Joel came in from California the take care of...

Shirley was the perfect next door neighbor. She will be greatly missed by both of us. So sad to realize she won´t be there for me to bring some of her favorite foods. And, see her sweet smile.
