Just wanted to say that my prayers and thoughts are with the family of a wonderful lady who will be missed greatly... I worked with Shirley several years ago and will remember her as a truely kind and giving person.

I've known Shirley since she joined New Beginning after which she served on the Nursing Ministry; but I came to know her better when she reminded me of her son whom I worked with at the Woodruff Arts Center. Shirley was not only a good friend at church, but a home girl who was proud of her southern roots and accent. I hired Shirley to work for us at OnCare in Roswell about 5 years ago. Her honesty, warmth and magnetic personality made her such an enjoyable person to work with and to be around. She was a devoted worker and just a great person to know. I always think of her when I hear a weather forecast - she always use to say "That's why they call it "weather", because they don't know "weather" it will or "weather" it won't....." She will be greatly missed....
