Such a great loss! My heart aches for you all - Maurice; Chris, Heather, Kellen; Tracy, Marc, Sarah, Emily, and Kate. Shirley was a kind and gentle soul and always the "lady". Her quiet intelligence evident by her life-long learning and continued openness to new and wondrous aspects in her art, her culinary experiences, her community involvements and even her new home.

Shirley was my dearest friend, my good and kind mentor, my steadfast support through many a low time in my life. ...
