Shirl, The Blue Devils requested some more info for their Scholarship Fund, they are updating a new sight. I printed the letter I sent below, with your picture.---

The Caldera Family has been involved with the Blue Devils for many years. The journey started in 1972 with our two daughters, Kelly & Jaymie, joining the Corps. Later that year our other daughter, Cathy and youngest son Bobby joined. The only one left was our oldest son Steven, who joined the...

Mom,
Happy Mother’s Day!!
I am not sure why, but this year seems to be the hardest for me to accept that you are no longer here. I think a lot has to do with Bobby’s passing and Baby Bobby Dutra being born… I know how excited you were to become a Grandma and I know you would have been just as excited to be a Great Grandma! Dear Shirl,
Here it is another year. Where does the time go? Your doing a good job of watching over us. Everyone is doing fairly well. Keep up the great job and say hello to everyone up there with you. You are still in our hearts and mines always.
Love as always,
Jim

Life has changed without you here helping to guide us all, but you taught us all how to help each other. We have all missed you so much. Your laugh, your smile, your love of life is still with-in us all.
Cath is doing well,...
