Not sure what to say?

I cleaned your mother and dad´s house for many years when they lived in Placentia. My memories of them are many and very cherished. Just one small one was, I called your mam Shirley but your dad was always Mr. Cameron. Every week Mr. Cameron had a new vocabulary word that we would discuss as he put his model airplanes together in his office. I really loved your parents and I´m so sorry to hear of their passing, but I hadn´t talked your mother in many years.

I was saddened to hear that Mrs. Cameron had passed. I remember her and Mr. Cameron as lovely people. My parents (Doug and Mildred Riefstahl) were good friends of both when they lived in Kapuskasing, also visiting in Niagara Falls. My sister and I were along for those visits as well. I have included a picture of James and myself taken in 1957 in Kapuskasing. Sending my condolences. Sincerely, Susan (Riefstahl) Scott

I just read this and want you to know how much I admired your mother. She was a true role model for women today. Independent and strong. I am glad I was privileged to know her. Carol Downey. Placentia

My sincerest condolences to the Cameron family.   I moved into Chippawa Dec 1967 where I met Valerie Cameron. We became best mates and stayed that way until the family moved away. I got to know Mrs. Cameron very well. She was an amazing lady. All the children in the neighbourhood knew her and respected her.  She did not put up with bad behaviour nor insolence. Mrs Cameron nurtured my love of reading, I still have her copy of Anne of Avonlea. She taught me so much about how to be a kind and...

We met Shirley briefly when she attended the Niagara Film Festival. A lovely lady with a lot of enthusiasm. Our condolences to her family.
