I enjoyed teaching at Reedville Elementary with Shirley. I remember one time that our school was preparing for a musical. I was asked to play the piano. I found it too difficult. I was so glad that Shirley agreed to play the piano. She did a terrific job!

Always enjoyed spending time with Shirley and Ken. She was always willing to share recipes. One in particular was lasagna that is a favorite with my family now. She was a special lady and is missed.

Ken and Sandy, I know how much you both meant to her and I’m sure you feel her loss greatly. My heart is with you. With caring thoughts,...

For many years we kept in touch at Christmas, after teaching together in our early years of teaching at Reedville Elementary School in Aloha, I think the first job for both of us. I am so sorry to hear of her passing and so sorry I didn't do a better job of keeping in touch these later years.
My condolences and prayers are with you Ken and Sandi and family.
