SHIRLEY A. CHAMBERS (nee Frindt) age 91, beloved wife of the late William F., loving mother of Therese Chambers Arth (Kevin), proud daughter of the late Jewel (nee Haders) and Arthur Frindt (Muriel), dear sister of Robert Frindt-deceased (Rose), William Frindt -deceased and Arthur A. "Art" "Pinky" Frindt (Pat-deceased)(Sandy), cherished daughter in law of Agnes Chambers and William F. Chambers, Sr. (both deceased) and sister in law of Rosemary-deceased, Daniel B. Chambers Sr. (Eileen) (both deceased) and M. Francine Tirpak (Stephen G.-deceased), devoted aunt "uncle" and great aunt "uncle", cousin and dear friend of many. Passed away with her family by her side March 31, 2023. The Chambers family would like to acknowledge and thank Patrice Campbell and the entire staff at Ennis Court in Lakewood for the outstanding care and love they provided to Shirl. Funeral Mass Wednesday, April 5, St. Patrick Church (West Park) at 12 Noon Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of CLEVELAND, 4420 ROCKY RIVER DRIVE AT PURITAS TUESDAY 4-7 P.M. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Shirley A. Therese, my condolences to you and Kevin. My father called to let me know that your Mom has joined your Dad. He also informed me that Shirley and him have known each other since 1st grade and that he was there when she passed. Wow, what a great friendship and history our families share. Shirley, I'll always remember the hours we spent cooking Corned Beef and Cabbage for the Holy Name Society
St. Patrick's March meeting also cooking Kielbasa and Kraut for the Holy Name society annual 'Old Timers Night' dinner. I don't know how many years you, Phil Ockuly, Bob Stefancin and I did this. 20 years maybe? Now you have joined Phil & Shorty for a grand reunion. If there a kitchen in heaven I'm sure it will be in good hands with the three of you.

A wise woman of the Church told me many years ago, "If she is sick, we need to pray for her to get better. If she is not getting better, we need to pray that God takes her." Therese and Kevin, she was a kind woman.

Therese, I am genuinely sorry to hear about the passing of Shirley. Your mother was truly one of a kind. Beautiful inside and out. Always had a beautiful smile. She will never be forgotten by any of us who knew her. You and your family are in my thoughts and pray.
