Mrs. Shirley Mae Chontos, 84, passed away peacefully at home on Sept. 11 after a brief illness. A lifelong Vallejo resident, she attended local schools and graduated from Vallejo Sr. High in 1943.

My parents were dear friends of Lou and Shirley and I remember them fondly from my childhood. They were at our house for Holidays and other gatherings and were regular customers at my parents resturant.
Shirley was one of the sweetest ladies I have ever met and will always have a special place in my childhood memories.
