I am so sorry for your loss. Shirley never failed to put a smile and a laugh on my face every time she came to our office. She can even do this thru a phone call. Always bright and cheery. I always told her, I want to be like her when I reach her age. So full of energy, independent and so young looking for her age. Loved her style in dressing too. It was at the Mass last Sunday afternoon, 4/8/18 at St. Mary Magdalen Parish that I learned about her passing. My heart felt so crushed for...

MJ, Bobby, Linda, Laura,
Your mom was sweet and very kind to the little girl down the hill. I used to watch her make noodles. It was something this Irish kid had never seen. She let me watch even if Linda didn't want to. I know she will be missed. I hope the wonderful memories you have will help you at this time.

Dear Colasurdo Family,
The world has lost an amazing woman while Heaven has added a wonderful new angel with the passing of your beloved mother. Shirley was one of the kindest, funniest, and most empathetic people we've ever had the good fortune to know. The times our families spent together over the past 60+ years are among our finest memories. Be gentle with yourselves at this challenging time.
Love always,
Irene, Martha, Kevin Plough

Dear Colasurdos,
The world has lost an amazing woman with the passing of your beloved mother, but Heaven has acquired a wonderful new angel. She was such a patient, funny, and empathetic person who always sought to celebrate the best in everyone she knew. The times that our families spent together over the past 60 years were among the best times of my life. We will miss her dearly and her memory will live with us for the rest of our lives.
Love to all of...

Dear Colasurdos,
When I met up with your Mom quite by chance in the Everett Taco Bell three or four years ago, I knew her right away after not having seen her in 50 or so years. She looked exactly the same as she did all those years ago. She had walked to Taco Bell and she planned to walk back to her condo on Grand Avenue. We went out for lunch a couple of times, until I changed offices, and it was clear she was lively and fun as ever. Lucky Colasurdo kids to have a Mom with such a...

MJ, Bob, Linda and Laura, thank you for sharing your beautiful Mom with me, as I could not have asked for a better Godmother. Shirley was kind and generous and she was 'cool' ! The world truly has lost a very important soul. She and your Dad raised a fine family and I feel lucky to have enjoyed so many fine, fun times together over the years. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
