Not sure what to say?

Dear, dear Shirley,

If I know you, you are now planning for a reunion in Heaven for all your friends and family. You will take care of us, and those who have gone before you, just as you did here on earth. You have walked down so many roads and met so many people it is only natural that God said it was time to sit at his table. I shall miss you,your humor and wit, your tenacity, your love, and most of all your friendship. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. Thanks for...

To My Sister Shirly;
Our lives were filled with days of sorrow for most of our young lives, but you stood tall and never once shyed away from the adversities set before us. You were always the strongest of us both and you always lead the way. Now you;ve gone a new path which I can't follow yet, but I hope that one day we will once more see each other for the eternity that is in fornt of us. I will always love you my dear wonderful sister.

Shirley~
Thank you for helping to make my transfer into CHI Res so welcoming. Now God is welcoming you home with His open arms. Yes, you will be missed by many, but more importantly, you will be remembered with love!

Shirl,
Who will ever forget the laughs we had bowling - you were definitely the spice in our "Spicey Meatballs" team. Your love for life in all you did was contagious. You've touched many over the years but probably more so the last few with your courage and willingness to fight for life. We will remember you each year during the luminary ceremony at the Relay For Life. You will never be forgotten.

Shirley, you were the heart and soul of the Chicago reservations office. Without your leadership
we never would have the best
Reunion ever. You will be missed. My Prayers will be with your family.

To Shirley,
Thank you for helping me get the job at Delta. Thanks to you I had an opportunity to work with and maintain relationships with so many good people. You will be missed. You fought the good fight with such strength and courage. I'll always remember you with the beautiful smile on your face. God Bless you.

The Delta family will not be the same without you. We will miss you more than we can explain. You will always be in our hearts. God Bless. xxoo

They say that often times God takes the best, and he sure did this time. Shirley, you will be dearly missed by many. You were a real "trooper" and an inspiration to all of us who knew and loved you! When you arrive in Heaven say hello to our friends, Dede Nunn, Peggy Healy, Betty Mitchell and Gloria Coburn; and don't forget to keep the welcome mat out for the rest of us. We'll look forward to another wonderful Delta reunion one day. (Meanwhile, they'll never be the same without you.)

Shirley, you were such a wonderful inspiration to all of us and had such courage and strength through all of this. We will all miss you so much but know you are at peace and no longer suffering. Thanks for all you did for the Delta Chicago Res family. I will always keep in my heart the wonderful memories of our last reunion and what a special night it was for you and all of us. My thoughts and prayers now are with your family. May God bless you.
