Not sure what to say?

I first met Shirley in kindergarten in jackson in 1941. In recent years we spoke on the phone usually around our birthdays. I never had a better friend and never knew a better person. Although I'm living far away, I feel an emptiness knowing she's gone. I will really miss her phone call on my next birthday.

Ron, I am sorry to hear of your loss. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Please accept my sincere sympathy in the loss of your wife, mother and grandmother. Shirley was a cousin of mine. Her father, Donald Mault, was my mother's (Virginia) brother. Even though we were not close throughout our lives, I knew she was a very kind and devoted lady to her family. May you know she will always live on in your hearts. God Bless you all.

David and I raised our family down the street from Ron Cunliffe Jr. and can tell you that Shirley left behind a beautiful legacy in her children and grandchildren. They are all very fine people. We will always remember Shirley's vibrant smile, kind words and gentle spirit. I know she will be greatly missed by all but her legacy lives on through the beautiful lives she touched and helped mold. God bless, Kathleen, David, Jeff and Katelyn Weissert

Ron
I am truly saddened by Shirley's death - she was without any doubt an important person in my life at Vandercook - I always appreciated rehashing some of our "old times" with her at the VLHS Reunions - with the 2001 death of my first wife (Judy Shoemaker), I fully understand the feelings you will be experiencing in the next several months -
Our sincere sympathies to you and your family
