Shirley Rice Davidson

I was sorry to learn of Shirley´s passing. She, with George, was a staple of the Beth El Synagogue family in Torrington. Even after moving away from Torrington, she would return each year for High Holiday services. Rest in peace, Shirley.

I remember Shirley well. I was the Hospice nurse who took care of George. Some people make a lasting impression and both Shirley and George have remained in my memory for their smiles, kindness, and courage. I can still hear Shirley´s laugh as George would end my visits by saying "watch out for the donkey drivers" If only our world had more of these lovely people. My condolences.
