We will have memorial service for Shirley Dennision on Nov. 17th at 10 am, in Morganton, NC.

Shirley loved life. She loved animals. She loved reading, and encouraged young children to read. She enjoyed making crafts and giving them away. Rarely ask for help. She was like "grandmother/aunt" to my children for many years.

I was shocked about Shirley Dennison's death while reading in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I fondly remmber her as a good role model for every deaf children. We sadly missed her teaching style.
