Not sure what to say?

I was so honored to meet Shirley as one of my mother's cousins. She was so supportive and interested in the Johnson book that my sister and I compiled, and she contributed to the information. She had my heart the day she handed me a personal letter from my grandmother to her which held the instructions for knitting the heirloom lace, something we never hoped to have. To Shirley's family:
We are sorry to hear of the passing of your mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
We knew and loved them when they were here in Laramie, WY.
Know that we love you and that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear family of Shirley; We are sorry to hear of your loss. Shirley was always so kind. When she had to send her condo fees in the mail, she always sent a card with a kind note. When she visited with us we always felt she was happy to see us.
May our Heavenly Father's healing spirit be with you.

Jon, Shauna and family, we feel very blessed to have known your mom. What a gracious, intelligent, lovely person we grew to love and admire. It was such a treat to spend time with her. Much love to all, David and Sallie Hansen

George and I will always remember a trip Vic took to the Bay Area, and we took him sailing, dropping him off on a San Francisco pier with his suitcase in hand, just like out of the movies with a...

Jean, Jon and Jim,

Your mom is one of the most wonderful and refined women I have ever met in my life. I am so sorry for your great loss.
