Shirley Rose Ely

We were so sad to hear the news of Shirley's passing. Doug has such fond memories growing up in her neighborhood, spending time in her home, hanging with his best buddy, son Len. He recalls her being so elegant, gracious and proper. Very generous in her philanthropy. We look forward to her celebration of life in the fall.

Sending my love & sincere condolences to Shirley´s extended family. I was so sad to discover she had just passed away while googling her phone number. I had received a couple of phone calls from her over the past few years, but hadn´t heard from her recently. Shirley was a lifelong friend of my mother, Enid Hoffmann Diffenbaugh, & I have had the privilege of knowing her from my birth in 1949. Shirley was such a dear lady. We both enjoyed music and always connected at the California Pops performances. I have known her since 1949. RIP and know you are missed and loved. Thank you for all you have done for my family.
