SHIRLEY M. FAGO (nee Cristini), age 87, beloved wife of the late Anthony; loving mother of Michael (Jane Gilles), Felicia Fago, Ph.D., Thomas (Karen), Patricia Epner (David), Col. Robert Fago (U.S. Army-retired)(Marie), David (Shelley) and the late Mark; dear grandmother of 10, great grandmother of 4; sister of Richard Cristini (Peggy). Passed away September 29, 2024. Shirley was the parish secretary at Ascension/Blessed Trinity Church for many years. Funeral Mass Friday, October 4, Blessed Trinity Church (14040 Puritas Ave.) at 10 A.M. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of CLEVELAND, 4420 ROCKY RIVER DRIVE AT PURITAS, THURSDAY, 4-7 P.M. I have just learned of Shirley's passing and want to extend my sincere sympathy to her family, friends, and all those who loved her.
I met Shirley in the early 2000's when I joined TOPS. She was one of the kindest, sweetest people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.
Please take solace in knowing that she is now at peace, and when the time is right, you will be reunited. Until then, may your precious memories be a blessing.

She was such a sweet lady. I knew her for years as all of my children went to Ascension and all remember her very well. In later years I worked in the rectory office with her and she was such a delight. I still have the can of St. Andrew spray that she kept in her drawer so if we could not find something she would spray the spray. I now have it and will forever cherish it. She truly was wonderful and may she rest in peace and condolences and prayers for the family.
