Not sure what to say?

Dear Dave and Girls,

I was so shocked to learn of Shirleys' death. Our prayers are will you at this difficult time.

I met Shirley in 1951 when we entered our freshman year at University of Portland. She was always so happy and had so much going on in her life. I treasure the memories I have of her. Love and prayers

Dear David, Liz, Peg and Pat,
We will miss Shirley greatly. She was so dynamic and creative in everything she did. Her gift with fabric and the beautiful quilts she produced were wonderful. She was so fun to talk to as well and Mom and I had a chance to do that at the last St. Vincent's Hospital Nurses Reunion. We both talked with her and had a lovely time. She will be missed beyond words but her legacy lives on. Love and prayers, Mary Halvorson RN

Dear Dave and daughters. So sorry to hear of Shirleys death. She attended our 55th college reunion at St.Vincents nursing school,on July 19th 2010, and we all enjoyed seeing her and visiting with her. This news really comes as a big shock. Our prayers are with you all and God Bless. Frank and Joyce Ferrarelli

We will indeed miss Shirley! Sending my condolences to the family.

Knowing her through Columbia Stitchery Guild, she always said hello to me at the meetings and we chatted a bit. Her work was exceptional and always inspiring. Ladella Williams, Portland

I will miss Shirley, her great quilts, and her quirky sense of humor. Sandy Jandik

Dear David,
We are so sorry to know of your loss. Shirley was a blessing in the life of our church family during the time we shared at St. Hilda's. Know that you and your family are in our hearts and prayers. May she rest in peace, and may light perpetual shine upon her.

Shirley had such a creative spirit. She really inspired me as a member of High Fiber Diet and made me look at fiber art in a new way. I will miss her smiling face.

Dave and girls,
Shirley was a "treasure." I met her at CSG meetings and at the fabric store in Beaverton. She was a loving and caring person and I share your loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers as you re-live all the wonderful memories with your mom/wife.
