Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry for your loss of Shirley. Being her hair stylist for many years in Midland, I grew to know and love her with my whole heart. I happened past her home while the estate sale was happening and my heart sunk. I tried searching for her with no luck and was saddened when told of her obituary. I miss her with my whole heart...what a light to me she was!! Barbara Markell

My Aunt Shirley was always so good to us. My kids remember her great caramel brownies. Talking with her about the family and finding out about all of the people in the family trees was always fun. She was so animated when she had the opportunity to tell you some family history! I am sad to see her leave us but I know that her life was full and she left the world with a little more shine on it.

She was a beautiful soul who saw the best in people.

I did yard work for Shirley for a few years before she moved to Texas. She was a wonderful woman, who was very sweet & friendly, loving & caring. Prayers to her family. I'll miss her.

My heart breaks as I read this. Shirley and Jerry were the best neighbors anyone could ask for...and treated my mom and I like we were family. I loved them both very much and will never forget their friendship. My mom sadly past away August 23 from lung cancer and COPD. But I'm hopeful Shirley, Jerry and her can all get together in heaven and catch up. Please know that your parents/grandparents were two of the best- ever! Thoughts to you all and much love.
