Not sure what to say?

I am terribly sorry to hear of Shirley's passing. She was my mother's therapist for many years here in Dallas. I would really appreciate any contact from any family member who may have any records to offer of my deceased mother. I think I am the only child who actually remembered Shirley's name. It would be really helpful to maybe understand some of the deep issues my mother had and she simply would not share. Please respond to this or my email if any of you are willing to help. Thank you in...

When I was growing up she helped me so much become the person I am today. She was truly my friend. I used to be shy and she taught me to be myself and share my feelings with others. She changed my life. I loved her dearly. I just can't say enough about how much she meant to me. I was so sad when she moved back home after closing her practice in Dallas. I did not know she passed 2 years ago until now. May God bless her and hold her in his hands forever. She is truly a shining light to all.

Shirley Garland, 2009 Family Reunion

When I was a pre-teen, I used to sit with Shirley and/or her sister Beverly in church at Central Park Baptist. They were several years older than me, but I was thrilled the Sunday mornings I could sit with them as they were the 2 prettiest young ladies in our church. That was around 60 years ago. I thanks Shirley and Beverly for their kindness for letting a little boy sit with them and talk with them. God bless Shirley as she is in Heaven now, and God bless her family, especially Beverly....

She will be missed. I lost touch with her and have wondered how and where she might be. We shared some good times together. Bette W.
