Not sure what to say?

A truly nice lady I shall remember all of my life and treasure,

Still missing this wonderful lady, Shirley F. Garvey, and wishing she was still with us!

Although gone, I have written in her memory book before, she was a very treasured lady, not only to her family, but also to Fort Worth, who did a world of good deeds, and a lot of hard work. She was a pillar and inspiration to society, we shall not see the likes of again, which is a crying shame. I am a better person because I have learned and stood on the shoulders of giants as herself, and learned a lot, she will be terribly missed, but never forgotten!

Still remembering, Mrs. Garvey, a truly gracious and remarkable lady! Always in my heart, never forgotten!

Dear Carol Jo Sweat Family & Garvey Family,
Our condolences on the loss of your mother.
We all send our love, support and prayers during this time. May God Bless you'all!
Love, Dad Sweat; Whitney & Dave Colvert and Matthew & Tecla Sweat

The ladies of The Woman's Club of Fort Worth were very sorry to hear of the loss of Shirley. She will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends.

Prayers to the Garvey family for loss of a wonderful lady.

I remembered Mrs. Garvey, as a very nice lady, who lived up on Rivercrest, I lived on Hazelwood. There is an old saying that it takes a village to raise a child, or for that matter, to be interested in things. Theteis also a saying that if I have become a better person, it is because I have stood on the shoulders of giants! Well, Mrs. Garvey was one of those type of people who got children interested in things. She got me interested in Camp Fire Girls, when I was elementary school age. ...
