Not sure what to say?

We knew Shirley through my working with Dick at Kaydon. Sorry I didn't know Dick had passed 2 years ago, but we have spent half of our time living in Lousiana. We really liked both of them and are sorry to hear of their passing. Our condolences to the family.

I am sorry to hear about the loss of your mother, Michelle. She truly sounds like an amazing lady. Please accept my condolences on your and your family's loss.

How lucky I was to be impacted by this lovely lady as a kindergartener and then again nearly 50 years later as our families joined. I will always remember the beautiful, sunny classroom, the awe of my own nap "rug", "cubby" and coat hook. The impressive felt board still makes me smile. What an amazing life to have inspired so many new tiny learners so positively- a gift that continued long after she left the classroom.

May all of you find peace in the sweet reunion that must...

I had her for kinder garden really liked her, Shan Alexander-DeWald. sorry for your lose

The impression she made on me as my kindergarten teacher at Campbell school was indelible. She loved her students. Loved teaching. Her lesson plan was very individual..and she made sure the parents had wonderful projects from the kids. She cut out a silhouette of each of us; had us put an imprint of our tiny hands in plaster to make a wall hanging for our parents; took us on a field trip to Deer Park...and oh so much more. What a legacy to have taught and mentored so man young minds....

I remember her fondly, may her memory be eternal

Eric, Rondi, and Michelle,

I am so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. She and your Dad were good friends of my parents, Maurice and Marie Newell at Temple Church. Your parents were such wonderful examples! I remember all of you with great fondness. Prayers for your comfort in your grieving.
