Sending prayers to Shirley's family. Attended high school with her. Always so nice to everyone. Karen (Hankins) Greer

I´m so sorry Shirley passed away! She was so kind to me. My mom and I had Thanksgiving at her and Dick´s house for years and that was always a wonderful time! We also had Easter egg hunts there when I was a child with Jackson, Wiley, Owen, Jessica, and Jackie. Those are fond memories! I love each of you and I´m so sorry for what you´re going through with Shirley´s passing. Jesus is with each of you and He loves you so much! Shirley is with Him now and we can look forward to seeing her again...

Dick & family, We were so sorry to hear of Shirley´s passing. She was in my circle at Munsey. She was a top notch gal & loved by many folks. Ron went to Science Hill & graduated in 1967. He remembers Shirley. Ron & I moved to Charleston SC area to be near our kids in 2018. We haven´t visited JC as much as we hoped. We try to keep up with Munsey but we don´t always know what is going on. We sincerely send out sincere condolences & love. Ron & Vickie Bacon 5230 Bear Foot Drive,...

We are heartbroken to find out late of Shirley´s passing. We would have been at the funeral to honor her and support Dick and her family. I have so many great memories with Shirley...as a dear friend, years of tennis, beach trips & lots of laughs. May the Lord comfort each of you. I will cherish our time with her. Love, Pam and Larry Sherwood

Passing through the hallways or meeting places at Munsey, Shirley and I took time to greet/hug each other, and do a short "catch-up". I will miss her, and certainly am thinking of Dick, and other family members. Priscilla Sarvadi

SHHS Class of 1966 Shirley´s smile and personality were unforgettable. There was not much she was not involved in with our class: Student council, Pep Club, ROTC, Civinettes, various committees and the list goes on. Always wonderful to chat with her at our class reunions. Always the same Shirley!

Dick and Family, We are so very saddened by Shirley's passing. You all are in my prayers. A favorite memory is Thanksgiving with you all! God bless each of you now and in the days forward.

Shirley (and Dick) were our home away from home through high school and college. They loved all of us like we were their own. My heart is broken for the family. Prayers for all of you.

Dick, I am saddened to hear about Shirley. Hang in there my old friend. If I can help, let me know.
