Not sure what to say?

I just wanted to say how sorry I am to learn of Shirley' passing today. My Mum is a resident of Westmount One and each morning that I was there, Shirley was seated in her same chair in the common area working on the NY Times crossword puzzle. I was always struck by Shirley's sharpness - her sharp mind and her, on occasion, feistiness! Shirley would kindly give my Mum her Gazette when she was done with it and if her Gazette and a pencil were just left on the chair, we would know she was not...

I just heard of the passing of Auntie Shirley and I felt I had to express my sympathies. I always loved visiting around the corner! Auntie was such a classy lady, a great cook and wonderful hostess. She dressed with flair and brought some excitement to suburbia. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

My deepest sympathies. I am so sorry for your loss, may she rest peacefully.

Our deepest condolences on the loss of such a wonderful person. We met Shirley briefly at Glyn and Andrea's wedding and found her to be charming and so well loved by her family. Our hearts go out to all your family. Karen, Kate and Chris.

What an incredible, classy and loving lady was Shirley!!! My family, from my childhood, became patients of Les's.....and we were always treated as family. I will always remember and treasure Shirley's loving support, front and center, when at age 40 in 1984, I lost my Mom. She hugged me, talked to me, and helped make my loss so much more bearable with her kindness. Your Mom was such a treasure to so very many people! Please accept my most sincere and deepest sympathies on your profound loss.

Please accept our deepest sympathies in Shirley's passing. My mother Winnie Dixon and my sister, my husband and myself met your parents in 2000. We were doing Esdon geneology. We exchanged letters after that.
