Not sure what to say?

Al and Family,

We are sorry to hear of Shirley's passing. She is now running in heaven with her beloved collies. Our family was fortunate enough to have had three collies from the Pride and Joy Kennel in CT - Katie, Dusty (son of Mark) and Patches. They were all wonderful dogs that gave us much "joy" and they had long, happy and healthy lives. Shirley was always so kind, friendly and knowledgeable. She truly found her purpose in life working with her dogs and we are forever...

Shirley was a special person who shared her friendship with so many people and the collies that came from her kennel Pride and Joy . This earth will miss her as will all of us .

I will truly miss Shirley! Her and Al were such sweethearts.

My thoughts and prayers are with you Al at this most difficult time. My 28 year connection and friendship started with Shirley when she lived CT. That’s when we got our 1st Collie. In time we got 3 more Collies when by then she was living in Virginia. Shirley’s Collies were so loved here, that 6 more families would make the trip to Virginia to have a beautiful and well tempered Pride N’ Joy Collie, from Shirley. I’ll miss talking and hearing her say at the end of a phone call “Give them a...

My sincere sympathy to Al and the entire family. Those of us in the collie community loved and respected Shirley so much. She taught me so much and I will never forget all the advice and help she gave me. And she was always just a phone call away. I was very blessed to get one of her beautiful collies many years ago and develop a special friendship. She was one special person to me. Rest In Peace my dear friend. You will be missed by many.

Sending PRAYERS and love for the family.
