Not sure what to say?

Dear Patty and Jan, What great memories I have spending time with your family when we were young. For our moms to be best friends their whole lives is amazing. My mom always talked about Shirley even the last couple years. May God comfort you and your family. Love, Jeanie Williams Tress (Stella´s daughter)

Sending prayers to your family. It amazes me the friendship she and my mom shared over so many years. My mom greeted her with a big hug in heaven and they are reminiscing about their lives!

I met Shirley in 1975 when she hired me at Public Health Nursing, later to be VNA of Lehigh. She was a caring nurse, supervisor, teacher, mentor and friend. I have many fond memories of Shirley. She will never be forgotten. Rest well Shirley.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Patti who was with Shirley every step of the way. Rest peacefully Shirley. Connie Bruno & Rod McCallum.

Our deepest condolences to Patti, Jan and their extended family. I remember tagging along on several visiting nurses excursions w Patti and her mom. One of my most vivid memories was going to Marvin Gardens to test the kids for lead poisoning exposure. Shirley was very smart & compassionate in so many ways, it is hard to pick just one incident. I believe our job was to play with the other kids so that she and her colleagues could get the important job. I see the many positive influences...

Shirley was a dear friend! She was always available for parties, a chat anytime and/or medical advice. But most importantly I will always remember Shirley for her consistent thoughtfulness, and friendship! We had many wonderful times together. Rest in peace dear friend!

I will remember Shirley for welcoming us to her house when we ( myself and small daughter);would show up unexpectedly to visit her and Aunt Jane. She also was a help many times with medical things when my parents were hospitalized several times . I will miss her and her family will be in my prayers.
