Eileen and family - It is our hope that in the sadness of loss, you can celebrate your mother's life and find peace. She leaves the physical and lives on in your heart. Our prayers that you find a home for her there.

Shirley and I worked together on Salem Memorial Hospital board in early '70's, She was my mentor and became a dear friend, I am grateful for the gift of her life, friendship, and example as a "woman who is God's idea" of wife, mother, friend and servant. She did it all well. The imprint of her life lives on. God's blessing and comfort to you her family.

To the Hadley Family:A bright light has gone out in Salem with the passing of Shirley. She had a wonderful sense of life and humor and she truly cared what others had to say. One childhood memory is when your cat had a litter of kittens. When Mom and I went to pick up our kitten, it was hiding in the basement, somewhere behind Allan's huge train set. I don't thilnk I have met a better commedian, I always enjoyed seeing her in Neskowin during summer vacations.
