I've known Shirley since 1978 when we attended Hillcrest Baptist Church. She has been a loyal friend over all these years. We have shared many happy times together and many wonderful conversations. Shirley had such a way of making you laugh and I cherish all the times we laughed together. Shirley was always filled with compassion for others. She truly had a caring heart. She is one of the dearest people I've had a privilege to know and I will miss her greatly.
