My name is Mary Beggs and I work at the front counter at Steele Lane Community Center. Our staff LOVED Shirley! She was one of our favorite patrons... so much so that, after much cajoling (she was the ultimate in Modest), we highlighted her as "Someone You Must Know" on our bulletin board. We included a photo of her & Bob as well as a photo of the home grown bounty of fruits and vegetables she would share.
It was an honor to know her and her presence on the planet will be missed.
