Mrs. Hathaway was my 5th Grade Teacher at Green Street and a Wonderful Challenging Teacher who provided a disciplined atmosphere to learn in.

Shirley Hathaway was an active member of the Brattleboro Garden Club. She was a warm and loving person, who welcomed my Aunt Alice & I into the club. She spent several springs teaching me how to pot plants for our annual Plant Sale. Shirley will forever be in my heart - and her love of gardening and flowers.
