Shirley Elizabeth Nowlin Hawkins, 67 of 1191 High Shoal Church Rd Mooresboro died Friday March 3,2006 at her residence. A native of Clark County Indiana she was a daughter of the late Milton Evans and Margaret Hall Nowlin. She was a home maker.

She is survived by her Husband Billy Gene Hawkins Sr. of the home, Three sons Billy Gene Hawkins Jr. of Mooresboro, Bobby Dean Hawkins and wife Leslie, of Kings Mountain, David Wayne Hawkins and wife Brenda, of Mooresboro, two brothers Tommy Nowlin, of Florida , Wesley Nowlin, of Georgia, two sisters Jean Owens of Georgia , Sybil Hutchins of Mississippi. Six grandchildren, David Harris, Ashley Hawkins, Brandon Hawkins, Kristopher Hawkins, Korey Hawkins, April Hawkins, three great grandchildren Ryela Mode, Adyen Harril, and Logan Harris.

Grave side services will be held 3:00 P.M. Tuesday March 7,2006 at Goodes Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. L.W. Toney and Rev. Todd Bolin officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the church sanctuary.

The family would like to thank the Doctors and staff of the Blumenthal Cancer Center and Hospice of Rutherford County.

McKinney-Landreth Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
