Northwood: Shirley Tasker Houlihan, 87, died Wednesday, July 6, 2005 at the Epsom Manor, Epsom, NH after a period of failing health. She was the widow of the late Bernard Houlihan and long time resident of the Northwood area.
She was born on January 20, 1918 in Northwood, NH; the daughter of Elmer D. and Clara (Hanson) Tasker, Sr.
Shirley worked for the New England Center as a Baker.
She is survived by a daughter, Patricia Sweisthal and her husband, Henry of Northwood; a brother, Elmer D. Tasker and his wife Edith of Northwood; a special niece, June Leone, a grandson David Sweisthal and many other nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Lawrence Tasker and Murray Tasker, and her sisters, Helen English, Grace Leone and Polly Pinkham.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, July 11, 2005 at the Purdy Memorial Chapel, 2 Concord Rd., Rt. 4, Lee, NH.
