Shirley passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2016. Shirley was a resident of New Orleans, Louisiana at the time of her passing. Shirley graduated from Joseph S. Clark High School class of 1954. Family friends neighbors priests and parishioners of St. RaymondSt. Leo the Great St. Jude and Corpus ChristiEpiphany Catholic Churches St. Bernard Community and Asia Pentecost Churches Charity HospitalLSU and Department of Veterans Affairs VA are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. RaymondSt. Leo the Great Catholic Church 2916 Pairs Ave. on Saturday April 30 2016 for 9:30 am Fr. Anthony M. Bozeman S.S.J. celebrant. Interment: Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation begins at 8:30 am.

Miss Shirley is what I called her when I was very young and I still called her Miss Shirley as a Man,because she was worthy of it,always had a smile on her face I was around Miss Shirley about 50yrs and I never saw her get angry r use bad words never,she was someone special you will be missed dearly,we love you and the Sarge we called him,rest n peace your work on this Earth is complete,take your rest.The Wilkerson Family,(Marrero,La)

Mrs. Shirley was an excellent mother and grandmother to my son and I. She was a sweet, kind and generous lady who was always there for us whenever we needed her. Kirk Jr. and I are going to miss her deeply. She could never be replaced. We will always love and miss you Shiley. God truly has an angel with him now.
