In addition to all the well-deserved superlatives that describe my friend Shirley in her obituary, I'll add that she was an awesome friend. She was an admirable woman from our elementary school years through HHS commencement. And it was my privilege to continue that treasured friendship throughout our lives with a caring gal who really loved to laugh. Our condolences to Dick and their daughters.
