Since April 1983 I not only had the pleasure of being Shirley's eye doctor but the privilege of being her friend. We enjoyed each others company and looked forward to our visits. I cared for her a great deal, I am enriched by having known her and will always miss her. We also had a lot of good laughs. Peace to you Shirley.
