Not sure what to say?

Aw... I have just learned of Shirley's passing. Thoughts & prayers for her beloved Family, Friends, & Fans. Asking GOD to bless them with the Peace & Comfort that only GOD can. Thank you, dear Shirley for sharing You, your Heart & Great Talent with all of us. Rest In Sweet Peace.

One of the best acting parts was NYPD Blue, Mrs. Cantwell, whose daughter was killed by her husband purely as retribution to his wife. I cry each time I see this scene. (Episode name: Large Mouth Bass)

Sincere condolences to the family. Love Sweet Bird of Youth and try never to miss it. Ms. Knights performance is sensitive, compelling, and prescient. Comfort one another (Isa. 40:1).

From Dutchman to Redwood Highway, Shirley Knight was a stunning, riveting actress with an ethereal beauty that never left her. She always drew you deeply into a story and left you with something to think about, enhanced because it was encased in a residual light of her haunting qualities. Sincere condolences to her friends and family. She must have been wonderful to know.

Rest with God.

Remember her from several television shows and movies in the 1980's and 1990's.

I will never forget your talent. May comfort and genuine compassion be with your family.

I remember Miss Knight from the tv show Doc on PAXTV. I loved it when she was on! Death can never separate those bound together by the ties of pure love. We all have our memories of her. Rest in Peace.
