David Kozel and Family,

I extend my deepest sympathies to you and your family during this difficult time. Losing a loved one is beyond words, may you find peace in knowing she is now living without pain and in her final resting place.

Shirley and I became friends while attending cardiac rehab sessions back in 2002. I'll always remember her soft-spoken demeanor and zest for life. She was a fine, fine, woman whom I will have the fondest of memories. My condolences to her family during this sad time.

I had the pleasure of knowing Shirley and her sons for over 40 years. She was in many ways a second mother to me. She loved me as her own child and I spent so many nights and weekends that i am sure i could have been considered a tax deduction. The Kozel's are a loving and generous family and that was made possible because of the way Shirley raised her sons. She had an incredible talent for art and decorating.
