Not sure what to say?

Shirley will be missed by those who knew and worked with her. We worked together at Scott Medical Center, and I also worked with she and Paul to decorate their home in Belleville. They were both truly nice people. Our years as friends was a joy. The lunch group enjoyed getting together once a month, and when I moved to Virginia I really missed all the ladies (what a wonderful group of friends).

Both Shirley (and her late husband, Paul), were wonderful people, and will be missed greatly. Our family has been their next door neighbors for 55 years...and as my brothers and I grew up, Paul and Shirley used to hire one of us brothers at a time, to come over and feed the cats, birds, raccoons and check on the house whenever they were away...They truly loved nature and animals. After Paul passed away, my dad (Bill Carriel) would often walk over and take Shirley's mail or newspapers up that...

Our sincere sympathies on the loss of Shirley. We will always remember Shirley's graciousness and kindness towards our daughters when they worked at Westhaven pool. They thoroughly enjoyed visiting with Shirley and Paul and serving them burgers from the grill. We will remember her in our prayers and know that she and Paul are eternally united into the kingdom of heaven.

Mrs. Kunz was a gem. She's one of the most nicest and most gracious people that I've ever met. I will always consider it an honor to have shared conversation with her and the card players on the Westhaven Pool Deck. Mrs. Kunz will be greatly missed. My condolences.

Some people make a garden out of life and walk---or run, in the joy of
sun, rain and flowers. Shirl did.

And it was my good fortune to play a small part in the journey. The memories are sweet, as they are for family and friends.

Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort. Shirley and Paul were so sweet.

I was saddened to learn Mrs. Kunz passed away. I grew up at Westhaven with the Kunz's. Shirley and Paul were among the most gracious people I have ever met. Please accept my sincere condolences on your loss.
