I had the pleasure of meeting Shirley in 1997. Her husband Lamon introduced us, and it was a friendship that grew from that moment on. We had some fun times together, and as time went on we stayed in touch by having lunch together at least once a month. Sadly I hadn't seen Shirley in a while. I guess I just expected her to always be around. Shirley was a gem, and certainly someone who I will never forget. I cherish the memories, and send my condolences to her family.
