Shirley M. (Rogers) Maynard, formerly of Chicopee, passed away at the Life Care Center in Raynham, on December 20, 2023. The daughter of the late Louis and Lauretta (Raymond) Rogers, Shirley was born in Holyoke on August 20, 1928. She was educated in local school and worked as a clerk at the Springfield Facing Co., as well as Petluck's Dept. Store and Arkay Shops. Shirley was the wife of the late Raymond L. Maynard, Jr., and was a former communicant of Holy Name Church. She resided in Chicopee for more than 68 years before moving to The Arbors in Taunton, MA. She is survived by her son, Keith R. Maynard and his wife, Lucy, of North Dighton, MA. In addition to her parents and her husband, Shirley was also predeceased by her sister, Claire Goebel-Cormier and her brothers Howard and Leonard Rogers. A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 29, 2023, at 11:00am in St. Patrick's Cemetery, in Chicopee.
